Since 2000, Patrick has been very much in demand as a session musician and his versatility and knowledge of a broad range of styles gave him the opportunity to perform and record with people such as Afrobeat artists Dele Sosimi, Bushman, Bukky Leo (all Nigeria), Rai-Singers Abdelkader Saadoun and Akil (Algeria), Latin bands King Salsa, Expresion Cubana, Robin Jones Sextet, Osvaldo Chacon (UK/Cuba), Viramundo, Jazzinho, Som Brasil (UK/Brasil).

In 2003 and 04, Patrick was asked to perform with UK Jazz legend Don Weller and did a tour around Britain with his 'Electric Octet', playing, amongst others, at the Coventry, Lincoln and Appleby Jazz festivals.

2005 saw him playing with Afrobeat legend Tony Allen at the Royal Festival Hall and festivals in France, Israel and Yugoslavia as well performing at the Brecon Jazz Festival with Snowboy and the Latin Rhythm Section.

In addition to his session work, Patrick has also been teaching extensively, both for private students and in schools such as St.Joseph’s College in London and doing African and Latin workshops around the UK.

Most recently, he has been busy gigging/recording with Kishon Khan’s exciting world music project Lokkhi Terra and Latin trio Khandela, touring in Eastern Europe with Dele Sosimi’s Afrobeat Orchestra and playing in Turkey with the Selen Gulun Trio.
